Hello! My name is Robin, I'm a first year adult nursing student, January cohort, so about as new as you can get. I'm part way through my first placement and aside from a few administrative hiccups, I'm enjoying it.

I spent nearly five years attempting a biochemistry degree before I finally realised my heart wasn't in it. I am autistic, science was the obvious route to go down, nursing was the absolute opposite. But then, I'm all for breaking stereotypes! After some reflection and a fair amount of panicking, I applied just in time to get the bursary. I feel so jammy.
